JEAN CAMILO

Hi there! My name is Jean Camilo Pereanez-Bermeo, and I’m a Colombian-American mixed-media artist and illustrator based in Northwest New Jersey.

I hold a BFA in Illustration from Pratt Institute and have 5+ years of experience making work for clients in music, tabletop gaming, skateboarding and new media, among other fields.

My work aims to explore themes of class, queerness, monstrosity and myth-making — guided by the teachings of guerrilla film-making and a punk ethos. I’m hugely inspired by horror, surrealism, archeology, paleo-art and dark fantasy.
